MEET OUR DENTISTS
Timothy Webber BDS BSc Principal dental surgeon at Park Dental Care
For twenty years it has been my incredible privilege to care for some amazing people at Park Dental Care. I have learned to do some really clever things with my fingers; I loved to make and mend things as a schoolboy and felt incredibly privileged to be able to do this for a living. I am therefore finding it very difficult to be working on the end of a ‘phone during the COVID-19 lock-down!
I am currently using my clients’ clinical records to inform diagnosis and advice in telephone, video and WhatsApp consultations. I aim to give easy-to-follow advice which can really help during the national crisis and am busy forging relationships with business partners who can deliver appropriate materials and medicines to my clients’ homes.
I wish all my clients a safe passage through the pandemic and welcome your calls for help
Alison Warneken BDS, MSc (Endo) merit Special interest in Endodontics
Since then, I have concentrated on this important field of dentistry, being awarded the diploma and then starting a Masters degree at the University of Chester. Endodontic treatment, also known as root canal treatment, allows you to keep a tooth which has been badly damaged, or when the nerve has died. This is also how dentists treat abscesses, without extracting teeth. As you now expect to keep your teeth for life, you want to benefit from the latest advances in the scientific understanding of this complex area of health care. I have made understanding the clinical research and perfecting the practical skills to help you save your teeth with endodontic techniques my priority and provide only endodontic care at Park Dental Care.
As well as providing endodontic therapy for Tim and Rachel’s clients at Park Dental Care, I take referrals from other practices in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, saving teeth which would otherwise have to be removed. I understand that you will be nervous about any complex or time consuming dental care, so work to explain exactly what is happening and what to expect. I aim to save your teeth, whilst keeping you informed, and above everything, comfortable.

I hope that you, your family and your friends remain safe during these worrying times. I would also like you to know that every decision taken at our practice, will put your health first.
Whilst it remains unclear what the immediate future will being, for now the Chief Dental Officer of England has instructed dental practices not to provide any face to face treatment in order to help limit the spread of the virus.
At Park Dental Care, we are adapting the way we work to ensure we can continue to provide ongoing support to our clients through this difficult time. I personally look forward to connecting with you via online consultations and phone discussions very soon.
As it has been said many times in the last few weeks “we are all in this together”. Stuck at home with my young children, managing their schooling whilst rearranging my finances, I feel this acutely. The support I can give my clients seems like a welcome relief, like I am doing something useful, but I do look forward to meeting you again at the practice very soon.
